Church Programs

 

St. James Lutheran's Sunday School Held on Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30 for children ages three years through grade 8. Sunday School meets each Sunday from September through May.

 

Adult Sunday School Held on Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30 for all adults interested in Bible study and exploring faith-based issues.

 

Confirmation This program is required of all 7th and 8th graders who desire to be confirmed in the fall of their 9th grade year. Confirmation classes meet each Sunday at 6:00 PM beginning in September and conclude with on the Sunday in May before Memorial Day weekend.

 

Luther League St. James provides our youth with a Christian based group setting in which to grow through discussing issues, service and fun. We meet Sundays at 7:00 PM.

 

Choir A dedicated and fun group sings during services from fall to spring. The choir practices once a week, usually on Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM in the church sanctuary. All are welcome.

 

Woman’s Morning Bible Study Interested church woman meet September through May on the second Wednesday of each month to discuss various Bible related topics.

 

Lutheran Brotherhood Group The men of St. James meet monthly to perform a church repair, provide a community service or to just plain get together for Christian fellowship and fun. Contact an elder or the church office for the next scheduled event. All ages are welcome.

 

Weekly Bible Study September through May, Thursdays at 10 AM.
